Overview
Regrello built software to coordinate work across manufacturers and their suppliers. Its starting point was a familiar problem: a purchase order can live in an enterprise system while the conversations, documents, and approvals needed to fulfill it sit in email and spreadsheets. Regrello organized those interactions into shared workflows. Salesforce acquired the company on October 1, 2025, and the product continues as Agentforce Operations. Salesforce · Regrello

Founding Story
Founder Aman Naimat traced Regrello's inception to 2020. He said the pandemic exposed the difficulty of seeing and coordinating work across supply chains that ran through many organizations. Naimat told Managing Manufacturing: “traditional transactional systems created visibility and collaboration issues within supply chain operations.” Earlier transactional systems recorded transactions, but did not necessarily provide a shared view of the work surrounding them. Managing Manufacturing
That distinction shaped the company. A manufacturer might know that it placed an order but still need to collect a supplier's confirmation, settle an engineering question, and track changes across several parties. Regrello focused on coordinating these steps, not replacing the systems that kept the transaction records.

What They Built
Regrello's workflow software gave participants a place to coordinate tasks and share information across organizations. Its early description emphasized centralizing supply-chain data, multi-tier visibility, and collaboration. The company said suppliers could continue communicating through familiar channels such as email or WeChat. This matters because the person who has the next answer may work for a supplier rather than the buyer, outside the buyer's own applications. Managing Manufacturing
The successor product turns inputs such as documents into structured, multi-step workflows, with assigned actions and status tracking. Salesforce describes uses in procurement, quality, engineering, and product development. These are capabilities of the current product, not proof that every feature existed in Regrello's earliest releases. Salesforce partner guide
Market Position
Regrello addressed a gap between systems of record and the people doing cross-company work. General workflow tools and established procurement or supply-chain platforms could also address parts of that job. Regrello's distinctive entry point was the coordination of complex supply-chain processes across parties, where a single transaction may depend on many decisions and documents.
Salesforce already sold software to large enterprises. The acquisition gave Regrello's team access to that distribution and Salesforce a way to add process orchestration to Agentforce and Slack. Those were the buyer's announced intentions; the public record does not establish which alternative offers Regrello considered or why it chose to sell. Salesforce
Business Model
Regrello targeted enterprise customers with workflow software. Its company page lists investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, and Bloomberg Beta. Public sources reviewed here do not establish a reliable revenue figure, customer count, pricing schedule, or total funding. Those gaps limit any assessment of the company's independent financial performance. Regrello
Outcome and evolution
Salesforce completed the acquisition in October 2025; this is a completed company acquisition. At the announcement, Naimat said: “We founded Regrello to eliminate the friction in enterprise work.” Salesforce Its subsequent partner guide says Agentforce Operations became generally available on February 6, 2026. Salesforce continues to add features: its Summer ’26 release notes describe batch completion of tasks and the ability to start up to 2,500 workflows from a CSV file. Key Lessons
Regrello shows how a workflow product can start with work left between existing systems. Its acquisition also shows the value a platform buyer may place on coordinating people, data, and automation. The outcome does not by itself show that Regrello was profitable, or that its original product had solved every customer integration problem.
